Terms and conditions

1.Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Baby Block Classes (“the Classes”) provided by Baby Block (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in our Classes, you (“the Caregiver” or “the Parent”) agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2.Enrolment

2.1 Indemnification: By enrolling, you agree to indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold harmless Baby Block and its staff and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, judgments, fees, and expenses, to the extent permitted by law, arising from or in connection with participation in the Classes.

2.2 Eligibility: Enrolment is open to children aged 2–15 months accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2.3 Registration: Parents must complete the registration form and pay any applicable fees to secure a spot in the Classes.

2.4 Fees: All fees must be paid in full before the start of the Classes. Fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 6.

3. Participation

3.1 Supervision: A parent or guardian must be present and supervise the child at all times during the Classes.

3.2 Health and Safety: Caregivers are responsible for ensuring their child is in good health and does not pose a risk to other participants. Caregivers must notify us of any medical conditions or allergies their child has.

3.3 Behavior: We reserve the right to ask any parent, caregiver, or child to leave the Classes if they are disruptive or pose a safety risk.

3.4 Siblings: Due to our insurance policy, we regret to inform you that siblings are not permitted to attend our classes. This ensures a safe and focused environment for both the participating children and their caregivers.

4. Liability

4.1 Waiver of Liability: By participating in the Classes, the Caregiver voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation and agrees to release, waive, and discharge Baby Block, its staff, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, or demands, including but not limited to those arising from illness, injury, death, or property damage, regardless of cause, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4.2 Supervision Responsibility: Baby Block does not assume any responsibility for the supervision or wellbeing of any child. Caregivers are solely responsible for the safety, behavior, and health of their child at all times during the Classes.

4.3 Participation at Own Risk: Participation in Baby Block Classes is entirely at the caregiver’s and child’s own risk. By attending, caregivers acknowledge that while all reasonable precautions are taken, Baby Block is not liable for any adverse events including, but not limited to, sickness, injury, or death resulting from attendance.

5. Missed Classes

5.1 Make-Up Classes: A designated make-up week is scheduled after the final week of each term. If one class is missed during the term, it can be made up during this week.

If more than one class is missed, you may be eligible to attend a make-up session in the following term. For families re-enrolling, a maximum of two class credits can be carried over and applied toward the next term.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Cancellation by Caregiver: Caregivers may cancel their child’s enrolment by notice at least 14 days before the term starts.

If the caregiver decides after the first class that the classes are not for them, they may also request a refund minus the first class fee.

6.2 Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel the Classes due to insufficient enrolment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of fees paid will be provided.

7. Social Media Content

By participating in the Classes, caregivers consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during the Classes for promotional purposes on social media. If you do not consent, please notify us.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree that your use of the site and services is at your sole risk. due to the number of possible sources of information available through the site and services, and the inherent hazards and uncertainties of electronic distribution, there may be delays, omissions, inaccuracies, or other problems with such information. We make no guarantee as to the results from use of its services.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to caregivers in writing.

By enrolling in the Baby Block Classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the waiver of liability and assumption of risk.
